A walk through my desk setup

I’ve been fully working from home for around three years now. Over that time, my workspace has had to evolve from a nursery to a home office.

Therefore, I thought it might be interesting to look at the things that I’ve bought during that time to allow me to be a full-time home-worker.

1. Fully Jarvis Laminate Standing Desk

Let’s start with the desk, as it’s the basis on which this article is written. Most of the time I’ve been working from home has been spent behind an old wooden desk which hasn’t been good for my back or my circulation.

Therefore, last Black Friday, I splashed out on a standing desk and haven’t looked back. The Jarvis was continually recommended to me and I opted for a laminate top to allow me to use standard whiteboard pens to draw diagrams or write notes while I’m on a call.

2. Logitech MX Master 3s Mouse

This was another Black Friday deal. I’d previously been using an Apple Magic Mouse which would become instantly useless as soon as it needed charging due to the absurd location of its charging port.
